It has been a big change for me, Sonja. I don't know many people yet but I'm learning my way around now and am mostly settled in my apartment now.
I love the weather here . . . except the tornado warning we had this week. I was so NOT ready for that. I wasn't home at the time and was worried about the guinea pig and how long I'd be stuck at the mall waiting for it to go away.
Turned out that it was only 20 minutes. But never having experienced it and then being told to stay at the mall only to have nothing happen and then being told to go home after 20 minutes was way anticlimactic.
Oh well . . .
I'll get used to it.

I went to Rome (4th time), Florence (2nd time), Venice (3rd time),
Avignon (5th time), Paris (10th time), Lourdes (3rd time,
Barcelona (2nd time), Abalos (1st time), and Madrid (1st time).
It was a great trip!
