So I did it today. I saw a dealer near me had just the bike I was looking for. I went to them after work and purchased my first motorcycle. 
Its a '05 Yamaha V star 650 classic. I well get it in a week or so I still owe money on it but next paycheck and its mine. Now I just need to learn to ride. lol.(class starts monday) Here is the pic from the web site.
