The first four are an old lady (she's over ten years old, for a tiger that's ancient!), called Maxli - which means fish. The next few are her current litter, fourteen months old and still babies. The last ones, amongst the grass are the dominant male some few hundred miles away at Bandhavgarh, the rest being from Ranthambhore. I'm hoping to go to Kenya next year and seeing some lions - but they'll be an anit-climax after the biggest of the cats! If you get the chance, Thora, go. The country is fantastic, but the chinese are wiping the tigers out for their Taoist medicine. Please don't leave it too long, or they'll only be in the zoos of the world, and you deserve to see them where they belong! kiss
