Upon completion of the round of sixty-five, I have:
Selected twenty-five first-round winners. This is much, much better than usual. Priorly, I would have been dead in whatever pool in which I might be taking part, but, now...
Of those twenty-five, I have thirteen going on to the round of sixteen. Only Stanford, St. Mary's (Calif.), and New Mexico lost, of those I projected for a second-week of life. Plus, I did not have even one of those among the elite eight.
Of course, as well, my final four remain intact: Arizona, Gonzaga, North Carolina, Utah. Gonzaga will defeat North Carolina, by my count, too.
So, knock on wood, we shall see -- by camera, as transmitted over the television, for me, and live, if one is lucky enough to be in Spokane (who thought those words would be spoken, ever?) -- Catholic school coeducationals running amok.
Hottt.
(Yes, I did spell it with t, and two repetitions of same.)
