Okay, Lee tells me I should write a new blog and you know what? Who am I to say no? She's right. And super cute and has an amazing butt. So really, again, who am I to say no?
Not a whole lot going on. Been working alot, saw some movies. I went and saw the X-Files movie at the opening midnight show with Gilli and Salome and friends. I and one of the other World of the Weird Monster Show cast members loved it. Thought it really was a great movie. Moody, atmospheric, character driven....everyone else thought it was crap. And aparently they're not along. I guess I'm one of the few. But, yeah, I loved it. So Chris Carter...if you somehow happen to be reading random blogs on SG...you did good. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.
Clone Wars on the other hand, was complete and utter shit. And I thought only my beloved Star Trek franchise was dead. Nope. Jump into the grave, Star Wars. Sky Guy? Snips? Stinky? Crazy weird TV Hutt? If you saw it, you know what I mean...if not, save yourself and don't bother.
Let's see, what else? Gilli and I had a like 9 hour Bioshock marathon the other weekend. I was giving her a ride to a shoot with Sioux when Sioux had to cancel for reasons beyond her control. So what better to do than drink beer, eat pizza and play Bioshock from beginning to end. We kept thinking we were almost done...and then it was 3am. It was a blast.
Speaking of Gilli and Salome for that matter, we'll be shooting a new episode this Wed. This one continues our El Santo episodes from past seasons....which are always our silliest and goofiest episodes. Which means a whole lotta fun to shoot. This one's kind of a parody on Enter the Dragon/Bloodsport type movies. I've got a ripped open chest, a punched thru head, a smashed head, a ripped out heart and ripped off limbs all planned out for the shoot. This one's outside so we don't even have to worry about getting blood all over the studio floor in the station. Ahhh....the blood will fly. I'll try to remember to put pics up. Salome will be the Belly Dancing Ninja, Gilli will be the Bride from Kill Bill, I as Undead Johnny will be my mexican wrestler self, El johnny no Muerto. And we've got a bunch of other crazy characters involved as well.
And one last thing...while she's not the only SG in it, our very own Salome is in the WIZARD OF GORE remake which comes out on DVD today! She's even on the cover. She also had a pic in August's Fangoria! On a horror DVD and in Fango, not too shabby!
I couldn't be more thrilled for her. She's had plenty of work since then, one of her films, HAG, is at the Chicago Horror Film Festival later this year. But I am so happy Salome joined our show. We're on our 5th season now, 4 episodes in. She joined us for the 1st episode of our 4th. So it's only been one season, but I can't imagine doing the show without her. She's just that much an all around awesome girl! So congrats on the DVD, Salome
Hopefully there will be pics later this week of us all acting like idiots!

Since I won't have much money by the time the convention rolls around, I was thinking of getting some text on my chest.
