Hey All!
So... My computer is a few years old and really starting to show its age. It was new when Vista came out if that says anything. Dusted off my drawing tablet and tried some drawing in the photo software I have (I don't have PhotoShop, its expensive!) and it was struggling after a while. Then it wouldn't recognize the mouse clicks from the pen... Bleh! So I was looking at new PCs and Macs online and realized its not even feasible for me to get a new PC right now, let alone a Mac and then the supplies needed (software and hardware) for graphics work. Then it dawned on me: Hey, an iPad can do all the things I would need all in one (with a capacitive stylus, of course)! But I still can't afford an iPad. So, I'm kinda stuck when it comes to making and editing my artwork digitally and getting it online to sell (which is basically what my business is going to be). I can still put pen and ink to paper but thats just the first step of many to get things ready for T-shirts and etc. I am going to be looking for a part-time job after New Years, but that will be money strictly for bills. I do have a huge amount of vacation time I never used that will be coming on my final paycheck, but I'm not sure what that will equate to and if there will be enough extra for something like an iPad. :-P
I don't know...
