I had a ying yang black and white week for sure... A bunch of people were laid off from work (3 from my dept alone) and they've told us that they won't know for another 3 weeks if there will be more layoffs...
On the other hand I saw Clutch at the Horseshoe here in T.O. on Thursday and they were simply amazing. They played for close to 2 and a half hours. It was almost too much of a hard core good thing. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a show that much.
In the past week I've watched a couple of great movies... GREAT!!! Elephant by Gus Van Sant and the Fog of War by Errol Morris. I'd suggest Elephant to anyone who has ever been to highschool and been afraid while EVERYONE who cares not only about where the U.S. has been but where it's going should watch the Fog of War. It's a masterpiece and very poignant in these turbulant times. In order to see the direction we're going we have to look back and identify where our footfalls are taking us.
Some interesting things I found on the web this week....
Shirt Folding
Great Ad One
Great Ad Two
PS... the shirt thing was acting a little messed. Give it a try anyway. It's fun. Here's a little tidbit of truth....
The U.S. has never declared war upon a country that has a McDonalds. Consider that and wonder who's running that country. Hint... he has red size 14 shoes.
