So. I went downtown with crushboy today. We browsed bookstores and talked about art and the internet and, well, books. I'd tell you what I bought, but it doesn't really matter, 'cause I'm the one reading them- not you.
The point is that I had a really good time.
We even sat side-by-side on the top of the double-decker bus. At the very front. Not only do I sound fifteen when I talk about him, I feel that way, too.
Sometimes, I give the finger to what I assume is my lactose intolerance. I just had mint chocolate cookie ice cream and now my stomach feels nauseous. Fantastic.
Drank wine and played video games with a close friend last night, resulting in a full-on tackle/brawl on my living room floor because one of us destroyed the other with a spiked blue shell. Fucking Yoshi and his fucking speed skills. (Erm, no offense intended, yoshi.)
I can see the ocean from my bedroom window. Sometimes, I lay on my bed with my head on my pillow and watch the barges float on by. I fell asleep under the steady glow of a fulll moon the other night, curled up on my right side against the wall. Sleeping alone can be quite wonderful sometimes, and it's certainly important.
My eyeballs are aching. I'm going to go read the second half of Crash. This summer is made to devour books, not hearts!
Goodnight, lovelies.

I love summer reading.
15 year old style crush action is awesome too.
Oh... and we're going to have to talk about berets sometime.
