Walking home from work yesterday in the pink haze of twilight, I turned a corner to find seven fish, dead but fully intact, in a line along the curb. Each about eight or so inches long and very thin, they were silver, shiny, and completely out of place.

Perfect.

I want to buy a one-way ticket to Italy.

Alone.

But you know, I'm doing really well. It's bright, I'm in love with everything I see and hear, and I'm keeping a steady stock of delicious orange juice in my fridge. I've got books and Mr. Show and brilliant friends.

Hoping to go to the music component of the Penny Arcade Expo sometime in August. It's going to be MC Frontalot, the Minibosses, Optimus Rhyme, and MC Chris. If all goes according to tentative plan, it will be rad. Seattle? Two of my dearest, nerdliest friends? An iPod adapter in the car? All of this equals pure awesome.

Speaking of the ol' iPod, a friend of mine made me a knitted case for mine as a housewarming present. It's black with a white skull & crossbones. I'm a music pirate. Clever.

EDIT: I got to make out with Malloreigh on Saturday night. Twice. I think that she was pretty much sitting in my lap the second time, though admittedly, I was awfully drunk and it's hard to recall perfectly. It was totally hot.

Now, I bet you really are jealous.
