Classes don't seem as though they're going to be all that bad this semester. I'm currently in the process of trying to arrange my schedule so that I have class from 9:30am-1:30pm three days a week, leaving the rest of my week free to work. And play board games. And cook. And everything else that I usually do outside of school..
[The only analogy I can think of is that of being pierced. Sharp pain at first, and then that adrenaline rush. You were only here for three minutes and you look so much different and you kept your beard and it looks ridiculous and your hair was longer than I expected and only half dry. She waited in the car, thankfully. You barely made eye contact with me, and didn't listen to my answer when you finally asked how I was doing. Handed me my mattress and scurried off. You looked so awkward. I didn't really even miss you. You're just some boy I used to know.]
I finally saw Pretty Woman yesterday (I know, I am quite possibly the only person in the Western world who hadn't seen it), at the urging of my roommate. Not a fan. Even Roy Orbison couldn't redeem this one. Sorry, fans.
So I'm thinking that I really ought to start watching zombie movies, just to know what I'll be up against. It's been said that it's best to keep your friends close and your enemies closer, right? Well, I should start reading up on them, trying not to be deathly afraid of them on film, and preparing some sort of zombie contingency plan. Knowing everything about them will get me closer to them, I figure.
I'm only half-kidding.
