I Am An Enormous Dork, Special Iowa Caucus Edition
So yeah, the Iowa Caucuses were last night, for those of you who are American politics geeks, and while I could blather on about my opinions about the results and the 2008 Presidential election as a whole but because I'm really spectacularly lazy I'm instead going to prove what a massive dork I am.
So I'm sitting at home, watching Barack Obama give his really pretty fucking awesome victory speech:

Towards the end he goes into a bit about hope, which I've heard him use before in previous stump speeches because, you know, he's all about hope and the audacity thereof, and one of the examples he gives is
"Hope is what led a band of colonists to rise up against an empire"
And of course, I immediately think to myself "Dude, did Obama just make a fucking Star Wars reference?!"
Then about a second later I realize "Oh, yeah...American Revolutionary War..."
