houseguests. they really are something. especially when they're small, furry, and hang out int he attic! the good news is that my live-catch trap worked, and i took the little vermin out the neighborhood park and let him go free. no one would believe that i went through all the effort to catch a freakin' tree rat aline and let him go - but i didn't see any point in ending it for the poor little guy just because he decided to try ot stay at my house instead of hanging out in nature where he belongs. which brings up an interesting point - is my house not nature? is my lifestyle unnatural?
in other news, JJ Abrams has been tapped to work on the new Star Trek movie. let's hope it's good! the jury's still out for me on Lost (i like watching it, but i scream "GET ON WITH IT ALREADY!!!" at the screen a lot) and i never got into Alias (i leave the saving-the-world duties to Jack Bauer) so i'm not really sure if i trust him with my favorite franchise... but we'll see.
