lately it's felt like i haven't had a lot of free time. maybe not free time, maybe "me time". it had felt like a lot of the time i spend away from work i spend doing things, but not really the things that i'm *into* doing. i haven't spent much time listening to new music, i haven't spent much time writing new music; i haven't been doing much creative stuff at all (unless you call editing commercials out of 24 and Lost episodes creative). i think that i need to make a shift in my lifestyle outlook and create blocks of "creativity time" for myself and then hold to those, and not let the toils and tribulations of "regular" life encroach on them. it seems like adult life works against creativity and personal growth.
