tonight was my little brothers bachelor party.
in less than two weeks he ties the knot with his sweetheart of TEN YEARS. i am so proud of him. it's kinda funny since we only really started to "bond" and hang together in recent years. there is a 7 year age difference between us, so growing up we always seemed to be on different pages. both of us being "adults" now, we tend to see shit from a very similiar perspective. i wonder if this is common with siblings who have large age differences.
anyway, now here is all growed up and gettin married to a really cool, sweet woman who has been at his side for ages. they have been thru alot together and i really think their relationship has solid foundations and roots.
listen to me, i'm getting old.
back to tonight. running late to the bachelor party i blew a red light. got spotted by cop, pulled over, and basically treated like shit. i missed the red by a fucking second. i was very polite. cop was a dick, and not for writing the ticket(i DID run the light, so i can't bitch about getting caught), but because he was such a nasty jerk about it. so its only a 2 point ticket, but a shitty way to start the evening. i arrive at gogobar, and am told by manager that we cannot have the party in the upstairs private room we booked because their bouncer didn't show for work!!
much drama and such later, things are straightened out and party commences.
everyone has a blast, complete success, altho a rocky start.
phew! sorry for rambling.
i should get to sleep now.
goodnight
