yeah, so my big weekend "trip to chicago" plans went to shit... mostly in part to my piss-poor planning and failure to realize i wouldn't make it back for work in time. at least my band made some serious headway in the studio. we are up to six originals with at least 2, possibly 3 more we can work on, plus a few covers and we should be steady and gig-ready pretty damn soon. our goal was to do 10 song no bullshit sets, with the possibility of banging out 1 or 2 more if the rock was requested to not stop. we would like the ratio to be 8 originals and 2-3 covers. i always liked when my favorite bands left me wanting more.
