Hehe, finished reading J.K.Rowling's lastest - Harry Potter and the Half Blood prince.. T'was good as usual (who is R.A.B?), and also as usual i wish books didn't have an ending... books should have their own reality that continues even after you stop reading (so thats what imagination is for) - maybe that will be the use they will eventually find for virtual reality - but first of all they have to work out how to make stairs work (let along moving staircases)...!
hmm. But then i suppose if it were left to it's own devices, the "society" would just advance and you'd end up with a place as magical (and fate-o-choice-able) as hogwarts ploughed over to make way for a hyper-spacial bypass plus with everyone thinking that celebrity, possesions, reality TV and style are all a good idea.!! (it's all in the balance)
well you know you just can't stop advancement... altho without the past the future wouldn't exist so if we got rid of the former everything would be ok...
Or maybe we are just a story that got out of control... anyways i am now awaiting the 7th in the series with an odd mixture of suspense and d ja vu - i'm sure the ending has already been told to me through-out the other six books but i just can't place my bowtruckle on it yet...
Anyways, i was just thinking how much fun it must be to create these characters, bring them to life and then have millions of people waiting to see where you take them; although some writiers say that once you've created good charaters they then write themselves - so maybe it's almost like watching a book form - you've just got to point the direction and introduce the obsticals.
Ah well any escape-ism is good at the moment, for the world is upside-down (it's probably been like this for a long time, just that i don't see the whole picture so it's difficult to make out is't orientation sometimes) but yeah... the world is fcuked... and i don't see what can be done because there are so many people out there who hate so easily...
Peace through creation & listening; i wish i was in more of a position to do more - maybe i am - i just don't know it yet... but after all it's the choices we make... isn't it
lettuce and milk
but i threw you the obvious
just to see if there's more behind the eyes
of a fallen angel,
the eyes of a tragedy.
here i am expecting just a little bit
too much from the wounded.
but i see through it all
and see you.
