God, it's been grey here in the UK these past months. It will be soooooo lovely to travel to Vietnam, not only for some sunshine and heat but to see my "son" Olly Junior. We are visiting 3 sanctuaries run by Animals Asia a charity close to my heart who I have been supporting for over 20 years. Their original bear sanctuary at Tam Dao near Hanoi, their elephant sanctuary at Yok Don and the new bear sanctuary at Bach Ma, near Hue. Yippeeeeeeee . Olly Junior is at Tam Dao, rescued as a smuggled cub way back in 2011, he's now 200kg, loves his food and ladies - just like me ;-) In some ways being rescued as a cub meant he didn't suffer a live in a vile bear bile farm cage, having his bile forceably extracted, yet sadly, the poachers probably killed his mother in front of him in order to kidnap him from the wild....... He now gets the love and care from all at the Animals Asia sanctuary.
