Black Slaves were, for the most part, rather than being active combat soliders, used by the Confederacy on the front lines to dig trenches, build fortifications, serve as teamsters, cooks and hospital attendants. This freed many white southerners to fight. Slaves also continued to labour on the home front, tilling fields, raising crops, picking cotton and generally freeing their white masters to be able to fight as well.

Now, there may have been a few black soldiers on the confederate side, but you would do well to try and find more credible sources for your information than randomly Googling for it.

I am sorry if I came off as a bit short but I have studied a lot of texts on the Civil War that really have no axe to grind against the South. There was systemic racism on both sides of the Civil War, to be fair, but any idea of any Confederate organized troop regiments consisting entirely of black troops is false. Did you know that by the war's end 1 in 10 Union troops were black soldiers who had been freed during the war? How many do you claim fought for the Confederates?
