Why the hell am I awake so early.

Oh well. Yay for the weekend! No plans, no commitments. But best of all, no work. I think I'll find a new Murakami book, drink some coffee, and enjoy the sun while I can.

Parents shouldn't be giving babies candy. I agree. You would be doing the babies a favour....in the long run. Beware though, Hell hath no fury like a baby who has lost candy! smile

Early weekend mornings are made for coffee, reading and if possible, devolving into a lower state of consciousness! Enjoy!

Why the hell can't I find a new cellphone with a normal ringer?! You know, one that sounds like a phone, with a monophonic ring tone? Is that so much to ask for?! I don't need the Hockey Night in Canada theme coming on whenever a telemarketer calls, or "get get your freak on" when it's my mom. It's like tooth whitening -- rampant bullshit...

So I've finally given a listen to a new album I bought a couple weeks ago. "Audio Noir" by Octavius. Fanfuckingtastic. A mix of noise, shoegazer type swirlies, vocals, and bleeps, with some hiphop beats here and there and other abstractions. More fine materials from the wonderful people at Mush records. I love this label. Happy days.

"Audio Noir" is always the first thing i force ppl to listen to when they tell me they don't like hip-hop, that and fannypack, but that's on a completely different page.
