I'm SICK...wtf.

Figures I get sick on my days off. oh well, time to clean up the garage and get some stuff done.
kikibabe:
Oh my God, you are SO right. I had been feeling for a few months that things were not right and neither of us was happy. I'm the one that broke it off, and believe me, it was not easy. I hate it when people assume that if you are the one who initiates the break up, then you just do it with a cold heart and then you are all happy and shit. NOT! But I truly believe it is for the best, and I hope in time he realizes that too. It was so hard to know that I was really hurting someone I care about.

But since yesterday I'm starting to feel like a huge weight has been lifted from me and I'm starting to feel more like my old self. I know I'll have plenty of lonely moments when I miss him, but I think I've turned a corner.

Sorry to hear you are sick.
kikibabe:
Yeah, I've always had a fantasy about moving to a foreign country. I almost moved to Holland to teach English, but in the end I chickened out. It was all too uncertain and I was terrified of giving everything up for nothing. What a chicken shit, eh?

I'm so tired of working. Busy night on the job and I'm just annoyed. I've got three days off and working a double on easter. Good news is that I get some new ink on tuesday and can't wait to buy my new bike in a few weeks.

Hey, thanks! Travel is my #1 favorite hobby (although it's also my most expensive hobby, too).

Back in 1997 I worked 3 jobs for about 6 months and quit a job I hated and went to Europe for 2 months. It was the *best* thing I ever did!

And like I mentioned, a lot of my trips have been a result of heartbreak, but it gives me something to look forward to and it's a much healthier way of dealing with it - versus eating too much, compulsive shopping, stalking, depression, etc, etc.

I hope you're able to go on your trip.

I love rainy days, too bad I can't enjoy it. I have to do a ton of work around the house and then go to work. Ugh...I hate being a slave to the man.

On a lighter note.....I get some new ink in week!

Finally answered my friends' call to go out last night. I definitely needed the break. I ended up seeing the "Creeping Cadavers" and "The Capps" at a hole in the wall bar. Definitely a great show, can't wait to see them again.
