Well, after the way I golfed last night at my men's league, it would appear that I do not need to give up golf for a new hobby like knitting..
It started out looking like I was going to be better off giving up the game, but then the second half of the round it all came together... I ended up winning a hat for the longest drive, birdied a hole with a monster putt, and the team I was on ended up winning with the best score for the night out of the 7 teams..
I'm just hoping that my game carries over to today.. I have the afternoon booked off work so I can go out for some golf with a couple guys from work... And if I play badly today I will hear aboutit for the next month or so....
In other news, I picked up a copy of the game Titan Quest and have been having fun playing it in my free time the last couple days... I don't know how I feel about it for long term playing time, but I am enjoying thisfirst pass through the storyline....
I have been fighting a mild case of burnout for a while now, and I really need to shake that slump... Since I was about 8, I almost always found time to do an hour or two of hobby programming/designing in the evenings. (usually game related.. ) But it seems that since january/february or so I have not been doing much of it... Work hasn't been to terrible, and I have been fun stirring up all kinds of stuff there, but it seems by the time I get home I have no brain juice left for my own stuff... I went through the same cycle about a year and a half ago, but it was even worse then, since I barely had the modivation to do coding/designing when I was at work... (Which of course was a mild issue, since that was what I was supposed ot be doing at work...)
Either that, or I just need to take an actual break from it, rather than thinking to myself that I should be working on it... Heck, it might even be a good idea for me to take a vacation or something..... Then again, that might just be crazy talk...

Hi Sorry it took so long for me to return your comment. I took a leave of absence from this place... the longest one yet, at that. Anyway, nice to "meet" you... and I think you should take that vacation. Everyone needs a vacation.
