Well, apparently the universe has decided to not give me that good week I was hoping for..

I'm not sure if it's because I said something about hoping for a good week, or if it is just trying to get back at me....

It's possible that the universe is hating me back after I got mad at it for giving our dear Arden such a hard time this year... If you haven't already, swing by and give her lots of hugs and love.. She definately deserves as much loving as we can send her...

I'll explain why I think the universe is after me.. yesterday, work just sucked.. My manager was in a bit of a pissy mood and gave me and a co-worker a big speech because the two of us stopped and chatted for a bit.. (It started out about work stuff and ended up taking a few tangents). I also had a bunch of code decide to give me grief, so I ended up spending almost half the day chasing stupid little glitches in code I wrote weeks ago and had been working perfectly until yesterday. And then today hit...

So far, today has been a wonderful birthday.. First I remember that I forgot to go renew my licence plates yesterday and I have to run out this morning to do it.. Only my car wouldn't start.. Turns out the battery decided that TODAY of all days would be a good time to die.. So I got to go out and buy a new battery for the car.. Of course, the money that I used for that was the money I had planned on using to either go out for a nice treat dinner... So it looks like I get to spend my 33rd birthday hanging out at home, alone with the dog...

If this week gets any better I think I am going to scream and then go into hibernation until the new year...
