OK, so there was a slight hitch in the plans.
Lotus forgot her wallet at work, so she didn't have any ID. A bar was kind of out of the question. Damn those nubile 18 year olds... so irresponsible.
So we just chillaxed at her pad for a bit. Oddly enough, you can find a fairly comprehensive rundown of the scenario in Leningrad's journal, 'cause I was still there when he got home.
Anyway, it was good times. Lenny was kind enough to throw together a large chunk of the playlist I'll be spinning on Wednesday's show. And Lotus made celebratory I'm-naked-on-the-internet-for-the-world-to-see cake. Tasty.

6 years ago I got my nipples done, all of my friends though I was a freak, none of which have any piercings, I just wanted something that was a little different than anyone else I knew. About the same time they all started getting tat's, choosing just anything that looked cool, no thought involved! Now they just sit there, with no real story behind them.
I just got my first Tat in december( Paul Jeffories), it's something that I liked, and had wanted for the last two years. I modified the original till I liked the way it looked. I have one other designed that I will probably get by winter(Paul again). This one means a great deal to me and has taken me about 4 years to get to the point that I want. So for me it's all about self-expression and how I view myself.

i listen to local student radio a bit ( http://www.radioactive.fm ) and they have lots of pauses between songs. and sometimes even between words "well that last track was ..................................... cool funky. now.................... one from the datsuns i think. yes, ...................................... definately the datsuns."
i think it adds to the listening experience.
