Where to begin...
A'ight. So I went out to a flick last night with Lotus and her boy - poolhall junkies. It was pretty damn good, actually. Christopher Walken is still what it's all about.
So we went back to their pad afterwards and Lotus did the whole Suzy Homemaker thing, i.e. she made us dinner. It was a decent feed, and then she started pushing the cookies again. We've decided to declare that the first official SGCalgary party. Maybe we'll make it an annual event. March 18. Remember that.
So while we were railing it back to Lotus's pad from the flick, I saw this chipper (Lee) that I kinda knew. Decided to chat her up for a bit, because I'd just been talking with her friend earlier in the day, and we kinda made plans to meet at the Drum and Monkey, where Lee works. I don't really like Lee that much, but she's sweet on me and I figured she might cut me some deals if I talked her up beforehand. So the upshot is that I said I might see her there.
Well, after I rolled out of Lo's flat, I decided to swing by the Drum just to check it out. It's right beside the Night Gallery, which has the world-famous Rock 'n Roll Tuesdays with cheap beer and free hot dogs, so I figured that if the Drum was completely fin, I could just mosey on over to the Gallery.
So I walk in the door, looking for those I know, and see this dude who looks kinda familiar, but I dunno why. He's sitting at a table full of killer-hot tassels, though, and he waves me over, so I'm like, "OK."
Buddy's name is Calvin and he's there with his friend Vashti. OK, I *know* these people! They abducted me (in a way) just before Christmas - whole other story. So I chat with them for a bit, then tell 'em I'm looking for some amigos and I'll be back.
They're from Golden. I know one cronkite from the G-town. I ask Vashti if she knows him, on the off-chance. Turns out she dated him for many many moons, and doesn't much like him now. So that's that.
Nobody I was expecting to find was there, but I ran into this frado who's been trying to track me down for ages. He tries to hit me up for some acid. "Sorry, dude. Don't got none."
Go back to Vashti's table and end up going home with them (again). Thus, while I *should* be on the air with Lisa right now, I'm chillin' with a bunch of near-perfect strangers and completely blowing off my whole day.
Fuck it.
*Edited to hide the fact that I was obviously still drunk when I wrote this entry.*

Yep. And one more thing, you talk funny. *grin* K, let's list them: "flick", "pad", "railing", "rolled", "chipper", "fin", "mosey", "killer-hot tassels", "amigos", " cronkite", "frado" some I get, most I don't. *grin*
We should have a calgarySG crew hang out again.
Good times.
