While my life has rare moments of excitement, they don't seem to happen enough to fill a daily journal. Mostly my days tend not to vary much (hence no journal entries). In order to prevent boredom, I try to slown down my perceptions of the world around me and freeze it into still moments, in order to perceive some hidden meaning in the universe. That, as Dave Chappelle would say, and everything looks cooler in slow-mo.
To capture the essence of this in journal format, I will for the forseable future write all my journal entries in haiku, as below:
A stamp forgotten
Mailman gives me the finger
Postage is now due
Smart zombies with guns??
Money without government???
Land of Dead still rocks!!
She says I am loved
But my heart is still trampled
Love is not for me
Too many secrets
She faces the pain truth brings
Tears cannot be stopped
I awaken now
The numb cocoon tears away
My new wings...shimmer...
