I am considering Thanksgiving in Vegas. It might be the one place in the US that doesn't shut down for the holiday. And if I can't be with family, getting lapdances from gorgeous strippers after gambling away half my savings might be the next best thing. Besides, I've been planing trips to this den of iniquity ever since I moved back to California, and STILL haven't managed to get there yet. I think the key is to not invite anyone else, just announce the date and go. And a four day weekend would be the perfect time. Christmas in Vegas sounds appealing to, but I'd best wait to see how my saving fare from the first trip...
