I went into my new house today for the first time since signing the lease, turning the lock with my very own key. It really is a cool place--has a good feel to it. My roomates already decided which room I was going to be left with, but I went there today, and decided that was the room I wanted anyway. Therefore it's mine. Now all I have to do is mark my territory, dance a few chants in a swirly cloud of naked incense, and sleep and eat there for at least three nights. Then, provided my cats approve of it, it will be home...
