We got slightly delayed, but it is finally happening! The masters or at youtuber tommyfyeah’s are finally tearing into the Skyline. Almost all the remaining parts we were waiting on have arrived and he had a couple other customer cars he asked if he could sneak in before getting mine done, one of them being NASCAR driver Alex Bowman who is getting a very amazing build dome, complete with HKS built motor right from their factory in Japan (go to tommy’s channel to peep that).
Anyway, back to my build, the build head has come back from the machine shop with HKS cams installed. The manifolds have come back from Jet Hot Coatings and look freaking awesome, all of the other stuff should be back from powder coating next week, think we are just waiting on the brake calipers to be coated.
My GTR which was already amazing if going to be ever better now. It is going to look almost new. I will try and post pics as the build happens. Here a couple of what it looked like before and the state it is in right now. Before it goes to paint to have the engine bay painted.
