Some on you know and some don’t I have owned this GTR for 3 years now and slowly been collecting parts for a build. Nothing crazy, just a nice 450-500hp and I’d be happy. Anyway, it’ll all coming together now. It took me a year to find someone I trust to build the car.
My friend is a youtuber (tommyfyeah) and has a channel www.youtube.com/tommyfyeah and he just brought in an in house mechanic Josh Martin, some of you may recognize him from the TV show JDM Legends on motortrend.
These guys are going to tear dowm my car and do the build. It’s getting an Fyeahspec build, motor is coming out of the car, and then getting a built head (just back from the machine shop today), uograded turbos, fuel injectors, exhaust outlets, intake piping, PRP coil upgrade kit, koyo radiator, new engine wiring harness. While the motor I am having the bay painted to match the car, TH1 in color and the wheel well line-x so they will be protected.
I am deleting HICAS and deleting ABS, so both subframes will be out of the car and sent off to be powder coated as well at the brakes calipers getting rebuilt and powder coated.
See how fast that escalated, car was just going to get turbos and cams, next thing I know, while I am in there might as well take care of all these other things. Anyway, i’ll try and keep you posted on how things go once we start ripping into it,.
