It rained all day yesterday. Cook-outs suck when wet.
On the other hand, it could have been worse. Oh, no wait, it was.
Spending any amount of time beyond five minutes in a TJ Maxx or Ross or Marshall makes my soul cringe in agony. It is like the machine in "The Princess Bride" that just sucks away at your soul. It is the most mind-numbing, energy draining, IQ dropping place. I swear if I ever go on any sort of maniacal rampage, I'll blame all on that store.
On a positive note, Cubs swept the White Sox last night. That is great news.
