Cyndi Lauper, Erasure, The Dresden Dolls, Deborah Harry and several other artists are joining forces for a new annual tour to support the Human Rights Campaign.
The Gossip, The Misshapes and host Margaret Cho round out the bill for the five hour show. Several special guests including Rufus Wainwright, Indigo Girls and Rosie O'Donnell will also appear at select dates on the tour.
The True Colors Tour kicks off Gay & Lesbian Pride month June 8 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will make stops in 15 cities around the country including Denver, Chicago, New York, Atlanta and San Francisco through June. Tickets for the show are already on presale. General ticket sales for select cities begin March 16.
The tour is the brainchild of Cyndi Lauper, who wanted to do something to give back to the Gay and Lesbian community for the love and support they have shown her throughout her career.
The show is a joint program of the HRC, PFLAG and The Matthew Shepard Foundation and is sponsored by Logo, the new digital cable channel from MTV Networks for the gay and lesbian audience.
