So I've been watching the coverage of the hurricane aftermath.

Seems as though human nature's worst is prevailing over Mother Nature's. Roving armed gangs in the streets of the big easy. Looting. Shoot outs with officers trying to save lives.

I have no problem with people taking food and water. Those things are essential to life.

I do, however, have a problem with people taking the following items: Sneakers, electronic equipment, football jerseys, etc.

The Times-Picyaune reported an entire weapons case was ransacked in a Wal-Mart.

Great, now we have homeless, well-dressed, well-armed hooligans hopped up on cough syrup and sudafed roaming the streets in a delightful mix of sewage and toxic waste.

Here's to hoping Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4 isn't based on Hurricane Katrina. Here's to hoping the National Guard restores some order.

Am I going to send relief money? Probably not. Now before you call me cruel and what not, hear me out. Would New Orleans help out Philadelphia if a natural disaster happened here? Not likely. I'm all for helping your fellow man, but in times like these, you have to consider yourself first.

Yea, you all hate me now. I'm just not in a very good mood today.
