T Minus Five hours til tooth extraction time. What the hell do they do with your teeth afterwards anyway? Perhaps it's the little ball that clicks in a can of spray paint.
So tonight was interesting. I hit up the Blue Comet with the lovely Gadget and her beau. Ran into a professor from Temple and he bought a round. Ahh, higher education.
I'll have to admit, I wasn't much of a conversationalist last night. Been worried about the tooth and Melissa and I exchaged fighting words before we got to the Comet. So my apologies to my bar going partners in crime.
Chances are I'll be sitting around in pain all week, so my request for everyone who views this is to give me your favourite "sleeper song." Like a song by a band that is awesome, just not a hit. Old people like me call them B-sides.
For example (in honor of my Prof): The Specials have Ghost Town, A Message to You Rudy, but Hey, Little Rich Girl is a great song that only topped out at #5 on the UK Charts.
Hopefully this will broaden my musical horizons as they have become quite boring lately. If it's a good enough mix of songs, I'll make some copies of the tracks on CD and get one to whoever wants one.
So my song
Waiting for the Great Leap Forwards by Billy Bragg is a brilliant song.
As is
Come Back Baby by The Slackers.
It's my question, I get two answers.

as for a B-Side, one of my all time fav b-sides is: The Beatles "Don't Let Me Down" it should have been on the "Let It Be" album but was left off by producer Phil Specter. when "Let It" Be was re-released this year titled "Let It Be: Naked" it was included on the album as it should have been
