Maybe things are different today, but when I was younger, people 18, 19, 20 years old weren't all getting married, having kids, etc.
The more and more I kick around on this site, I see kids (yes, kids) being grown ups when quite frankly they're not ready.
Maybe it's an epidemic of growing up too fast. They're oversexed, they're trying to move out on their own, wanting to be independent when they're largely not capable of doing that.
Then again, it could be a function of where I live.
The East Coast is a little bit more advanced than other places. So many of these cases I see on SG anymore are from bumblefuck places and usually involve someone serving overseas. Who gets married at 19?
Not sure where I was going with this rant, really.
I'll just leave it at that.

how are you anyways? we stopped our epic PM.
I agree with your this blog though. I know a girl from high school (mind you, she is younger than me) and she has had a "serious relationship" ever since I've known her--but with two guys. And now this new guy is her "fiance." I don't get it but I'm over trying to get young people to be rational. It's like trying to salvage the Titanic, I do not have the strength or time for it. haha.
