What's this? A day off?
From everything?
Indeed.
So today's the first day in quite some time where I haven't had to lace up a pair of skates, write a story or interview anyone.
Quite frankly, I don't know what to do with myself. Today I slept until about 1, but all because I didn't go to sleep until 5 a.m. Was out and about after last night's game. (which had to be the easiest I've ever done)
It was Stockton College taking on Rutgers University-Camden, which I like to call UCLA. (University Closest to the Lindenwold Area.)
Winter has finally made it to Philadelphia. Much like Friday, Saturday is sunny, but freezing out. I was in town to cover a presser at the Federal Building. The FBI announced they broke up a ring of Mexican drug distributors who funneled drugs through Ohio to the farms of South Jersey.
Kinda crazy when you think about it.
Anyway, any time I cover a story in Philly, it makes me feel like a real journalist. Big city. Noise. Stuff going on.
Oh how I need to work there.
(bad segue)
I'm trying to decide if I should get Phillies partial season tickets or Philadelphia Union season tickets. They're both 17 games. They're both around the same price. First year for the soccer team though.
Just tired of the Phillies. Every douchebag in easter PA and NJ seem to flock to those games.
Your thoughts.
