Keeping in time with my posting schedule, so it's been a month since anything has been updated.

Work continues to be frustrating beyond belief. We continue to toil in an industry that is nearing the end of its useful existence. People just don't dig newspapers anymore.

Hell, people don't like books all that much either. In Target the other day, they were selling those digital readouts. Just load the book onto the screen and boom you've got Tom Hanks' idea from Big. Interactive comic books can't be that far behind.

On the bright side, hockey season is starting up again. A gander at my pics will show one of my latest experiences. Flyers/Capitals rookie game. All in all it was a great experience. Getting paid for it was a plus as well.

We have a columnist for my paper who has been a reporter for more than 50 years. He sat down with me last week and we talked about the experience and the road I took to get to where I am. Well, today he wrote about it. They say you're no one in the county until Bob has typed your name. Guess I'm someone now.

NYC girl is out of the picture now. Haven't talked to her for some time. Same goes for waitress girl. Perhaps I'll be back up there soon. Either way, it's good to know someone thinks I'm a looker.

Getting set for the start of the pro season. Have a few college games under my belt so far. It's all just prep at this point. Hopefully my skates come in soon.
