So I wake up this morning, head out through the garage and when I go to open the door, the handle is really loose.
Checking out the other side, there's the remnants of the door assembly shattered on the concrete in front of it. So the cops come out and pretty much told me what I knew already- that someone had tried to break into my house.
Not that there's really anything of value there. It's the idea that someone tried to get in. Don't really feel unsafe, just unsettled.
Is it bad that I'm more torn up over a girl who doesn't give me the time of day that the fact I was almost robbed?

I think it spoke too soon on that last comment I left you. Ever wished that you should have just stayed where you were, instead of going over to hang out with a person because the rest of the night just turns to shit? When all you wanted to do was chill, and laugh and enjoy their company? Yea, that's me. last night was kind of a nightmare, and it's pretty much like two steps forward and one step back with this endeavor. It's exhausting.
