So what if a young man from Philadelphia meets a girl in New York City on a Friday afternoon at a retail store where she gives him both an employee discount and her phone number. She says they'll go out that night, but she bails.
Then the texting ensues and they make a date for the following Thursday in the city. Drinks, dinner.
He's up there by 7, has a great time, great conversation but the date's done by 10:30. She gets on an uptown train, he a downtown with nothing but a kiss on the cheek from him and a hug goodnight.
He spends the 80-minute train ride home rather confused, but the texting gets going the next morning.
She had just come off 8 straight days of work.
Did he blow it or was she just tired?

I think the fact that she is still txting you is good, but DON'T CHASE HER. And don't always be the one to go up to her. I learned my lesson the hard way in a long distance relationship...you'll resent it after awhile. Make her come to Philly...and if she does, buy her a motherfuckin cheesesteak
My new gig is lookin to be pretty sweet...going to be working in the mental health sector still, but dealing with more of a medication aspect of it, and working with DBT (look it up) still, which is good...because I'm really into that. I think it'll be a good segue (sp?) into the world of nursing. And as for Monday, it involves complications/awesomeness with a new boy in my life. Boys are always the source of complication
PS. Longest comment ever.
Was that a totally counter-productive comment? Any big Mem. Day weekend plans?
