Hi ya’ll!
It’s Scar here today. Usually Morrigan and I write these posts together. But this is a SPECIAL OCCASION!!!
My better half and the beauty behind TWO @valkyri had her debut set go live today!
This set brings up so many feelings for so many reasons. The obvious one being that she’s an absolute stunner who should have submitted a set 3 years ago, but the less obvious being how proud I am of her.
In a world where being queer feels so scary, I’m so proud of how bold she was to submit her first set. I mean, submitting a set PERIOD is scary. I cant even imagine what it feels like to do it under the climate she faces as a trans / queer woman. But she did it, and not only did she do a fabulous job but she’s continuing to carve a path for women like herself every day.
Its a little known fact that we met and bonded through our love of Suicidegirls. One of our first conversations, ever, being about how both of us were interested in shooting sets for the site. That common interest motivated both of us to start shooting together, building our portfolio up to a point where we could consider ourselves worthy enough to work with the amazing women we have collaborated with today.
Needless to say, Suicidegirls has a special place in both of our lives and our relationship (AND OUR SOON TO BE MARRIAGE. What?!?!? ♥️) When Morrigan asked to collaborate on her debut set, I was so honored. It was such a personal way to celebrate both her transition and our shared passion.
10 years of collaborating, 4 years of Suicidegirls, less then 60 days until we say I do and an eternity of being proud of her ♥️
If you haven’t yet, go check out her debut and celebrate with us!! And for those of you who already have reached out in celebration, thank you so so much. ♥️
Cheers!! 🥂
