It's me, ya girl Scar.
Let's start the blog off with addressing the elephant in the room- YES! It's US! A real life photo of the TWO (ha! Get it?) of us. We spent this past weekend getting in front of the ring light and taking some cool new photos to go along with our rad new name update. While we have wayyyyyy too many outtakes to riffle through, I couldn't start this blog post without sharing one with you. :)
Anyways - Has anyone else been experiencing the quarantine blues lately? With Chicago going into its second deep lockdown, we continue to reminisce on the great times we had early in the year. Our latest sets to go live with @flowless and @varuna give us the opportunity to do just that. ❤️
Starting off we have INDIGO BUNTING with @flowless!
FUN FACT TIME: Flowless is legitimately one of the most creative and collaborative models ever. We made a few sets that day with the intention on picking the BEST one as our Suicide Girl set. She brought a bag full of props and one of them was an actual fog machine! While the fog machine set didn't make the cut (we just fell in love with the simplicity of Indigo Bunting) we did have a fantastic time running around and playing with the foggy fun toy! Flowless is so creative that it's truly inspirining to create with her.
And then TODAY our set DRINKS ON ME with @varuna went live! Which, as you can guess, might have something to do with a little (much needed lately) bubbly. ❤️
FUN FACT TIME: On the list of just extremely fun sets to shoot, this one takes the cake! What's important to know about Varuna is that she laughs ALL.THE.TIME and it's SO contagious!! So while we were all outside in 30 degree weather, trying to figure out how to make champagne pop (it's harder than it looks!) we were all laughing hysterically just enjoying the experience of it all. Please give this set some hype because CAN YOU IMAGINE LAUGHING WHILE POURING CHILLED CHAMPAGNE ON YOURSELF IN 30 DEGREE WEATHER!?!? Varuna deserves an award!
Moving forward- I want to cap off this post with sharing our continued gratitude for Suicide Girls and the wonderful models who trust us. The opportunity to collaborate with such talented people like Flowless & Varuna has led to some of our favorite work in addition to meeting some of our closest friends. ❤️ THANK YOU!! We love you guys!!
