The same area of the San Francisco Bay Bridge that collapsed in 1989 because of an earthquake, just collapsed again when a gasolene tanker tipped over and exploded. The heat was as hot as in the NY Twin Towers. So, the steel girders melted and the collapse happened. Now it is impossible to drive from SF to Berkeley. SO NOW YOU KNOW...
