So as some of you may have picked up I am a big foodie! Making and eating food is something I truely enjoy! Now Heston Blumethal is someone that blows my mind in the food world! If you don't know who Heston is, just watch this from about 24 minutes in!
So the fat duck is on my bucket list of places I want to visit but tonight we dined at Hestons Dinner, and here's some of the beautiful things we ate....
Meat fruit: chicken pate in a mandarin gel
Rice and flesh; kangaroo tail with a saffron rice
Spring tart! Liquid strawberry the green cream if from a English veg that taste similar to celery but more earthy
Brown bread pudding: with a butter caramel
Sambocade: goats milk cheesecake with pear cider poached pear candied walnut and elderflower gel! (I'm not much for desert but I was so devastated when I finished this dish. Favourite cheesecake ever!)
Salamagundy: oyster chicken with crispy skin button mushrooms and horseradish cream

Honestly I ate way to much tried a little bit of everything despite the gluten (sorry tummy tomorrow is not going to be great!) and I have never enjoyed a meal that much in my life!
We loved eating there and probably looked ridiculous everyone was in gowns and acting like proper adults and the four of us where loud, sassy with the staff (who gave it right back thanks Eric!! Bloody ripper) and so excited by everything put in front of us!
