For everyone who has seen/heard about the hostage situation in a cafe in Sydney CBD this is what we know
* 5 hostages have gotten out, 3 escaped and two are unconfirmed as either escaped or if they have been released
* the police fully believe that there is less than 30 hostages.
*the police have had contact with the man behind this attack.
* there hasn't been any demands by the hostage taker.
I think that this is horrific to have happened, but amazing that these people have escaped.
It's also important to highlight that this is the act of one person and not the act of a religion! It's very important to me as a person that we accept others religious beliefs and understand there stand points rather than blindly judge.
The Koran actually condemns violence and murder against others.
