Well I've completely neglected posting on anyone elses journals or really even messing around on SG cause of the craziness the past couple weeks. It's been fun the last week getting ready for Christmas, but I'm glad its all over!
Christmas was very good this year. I went with my mom to my grandmas the morning of for lunch. My mom has 5 sisters so it's a full house with their husbands and kids. The first great grandkid was born last May so our family is getting even bigger since mine is on the way!
My grandma surprised me with a gift for Logan. It's a really cute wooden plaque that has a cute little baby on it and a ribbon going through the top that says The Prince Sleeps Here. It's adorable!
Around 2 I got to RUNAMUCK families Christmas. I got their in time to see him finishing up opening his gifts. The day after Thanksgiving his mom and I went shopping and she bought him a Darth Vader FX Lightsaber and the Anakin FX Lightsaber at Best Buy. It really has been killing me because I knew how bad he wanted it. He wasn't even expecting it which made it even better. With his new work scedule he's still been staying up all night while I sleep. So I wake up at god knows what time this morning to this giant red glowing lightsaber that scared the shit out of me. I just laughed cause I realized what it was and went to back to bed!
I got great gifts. My mom and dad got me Boggle, Harry Potter Scene It, a really soft King size blanket so I will quit hogging the blanket, a very nice blender (it's glass, and Nick thinks that I'm going to break it
), an ice tea maker and socks. Nick bought me what I had been wanting for months, a Little Mermaid snowglobe from the Disney Store, (she's my favorite) and a really pretty diamond and sapphire bracelet. His sister and brother in law got me Friends Season 9 (only one more season to buy to complete our collection), Sorry, and Simpsons Operation. His grandma got me some PJ's, jewelry, socks, lots of misc., and the singing gopher from Caddyshack that she kept calling a beaver...hehe....she said she thought of me when she saw it, I actually really like it, so does Nick..hehe!!! His mom and dad bought me clothes, a pretty marcasite locket with a pink stone in the middle, a pink watch, a fajita maker, lots of socks, lots of misc., and a very soft, furry robe. I love everything I got this year, I feel very spoiled right now!
I am off work until Thursday which is wonderful! Wednesday I have to go back to my OB for another 3 hour glucose test
, it's really not that bad just kind of annoying and very time consuming. Friday night Nick and I are going to meet up with my old friends from high school, some of who I haven't seen for 2 or 3 years. The only reason I want to go is my best friend, I haven't seen her since last February. Nick has the weekend off again , so I think we're doing what we did last New Years eve and go eat at Hooters. After that we went to Walmart and got some wine and went home to watch movies. Of course I won't be drinking anything this year .
Wow that was probably the longest entry I've ever done. I'm off now to clean and pack up the stuff that I'm not wanting to use until we move which is hopefully by the time Logan gets here!
