My dog Calvin. He's really old. Do you like his pancake?
Started Jan. 25
He is currently lying on the kitchen floor. It appears his hind legs have given out. For almost 15 years, the not-so-little fluffball has been my housemate. He is the nicest and friendliest dog, especially w/ small children. While not the most intelligent with tricks, he is a fierce protector of the house. This has been especially reassuring to my mom, who is often there alone.
He has now made it to the living room very, very shakily. The vet has been consulted, and nothing final yet, but an appointment has been made for in the morning. He has bounced back from episodes like this in the past but this is the worst one yet.
death and taxes
time marches on
ON A LIGHTER NOTE:
Calvin seems to be doing much better. I just took him out for the first time since he started this and everything was OK. He seems to be improving quite well. The vet appt. has been postponed till afternoon to monitor his condition further.
THE LATEST:
We skipped the vet. Calvin is showing decent improvement. He is a bit unstable, but can trot a few yards if he get the nerve.
