God fucking dammit. Dimebag Darrel is gone.
Pantera is one of my favorite bands of all time. It was the first band that got me into metal. I remember hearing it for the first time at my friends house in 8th grade, and running out the next day to pick up The Great Southern Trendkill.
I admit I hadn't heard of Damageplan, but if I was told Dimebag and Vinnie were in the band, I would have bought it immediately. I certainly will now.
I'll be taking a shot of Crown Royal tonight in his honor. You will be missed, Dimebag.
