So, I made a video for this but then I was flicking through my pics and so many of them include SG events and people so I thought it would be neat to show you some of them. I joined the site in 2006. This makes my current age about 19 and 3/4s ;) here I am in a self shot that I made in the studio at uni:

Round about this time I self shot a couple of sets which just weren't good enough for the site but which were very fun:
Can't find the original of that image but hey, that is an awesome table. The main thing I gained from this time was friendship and a lot of fun, I wasn't super happy or confident at that time so having internet friends meant a great deal. I also spent a LOT of time in SGUK chat, SG doesn't have a chat function anymore but if you miss those days head on over to www.6mlove.com where a lot of SG chatters still hang out.

When I emigrated to Australia SGAU were my welcome wagon, I think I'd been in the country about 3 days when I met @thefuckoffkid who is one of my favourite people to hang out with to this day.Every year we hold a ball (or, this year I believe it's called the party) at which I am totally composed and never over indulge. Orrr, this is me just after the awesome room of awesome which involved me pretty much making a bunch of girls get naked and heap into my then man's bed (who I had been seeing for all of ten minutes at that point, oops!)
I'm not much of a smoker but after that that fag was 100% necessary.
Since moving to my city I got way more involved with the set shooting side of things again. Basically one day @countessa posted on my blog 'I've decided you're shooting a set' about 2 months later there I was naked on TFOK's couch with my bottom in the air. Unconnected to that I also shot a set :P
I've never really understood the idea that making a set was empowering, don't get me wrong, I don't think it's disempowering either but for me I just made this because I thought it would be fun but when it came out it actually made me feel much better about my body than I ever have before. I suppose it took having it presented to me in this format for me to be able to look at it objectively and think actually, some bits of me are fucking smashing, I am quite fit! @exkyu and @countessa did an amazing job and even if it never gets bought I'm super happy with the result. :) I also saw them shoot @countessa and @christina in a multi. You guys are in for a hell of a treat.
So, as you can see over the last 8 years this site has had a massive impact on my life. I've been in contact with someone from here almost every day in that time, I've seen drama and trolls and lols come and go and even though it is a very different site to the one I joined it is still a great site. I've had two relationships grow from this place both with incredible people who I am still very fond of and I can't really imagine the way my life would be without this place. SG is my internet home and I'm sure I'll be here for some time yet!
(This is me at taronga zoo, when I met @missy at the burlesque the other night I was trying to impress upon her the excitement and awesomeness of the zoo. That was around about the same time I realised that not everyone is as excited about giraffes as I am.)
