yeah, today is what today is. i don't like it. i'm ditching work for an indefinate period, but probably for a few hours. coming home this morning from new brunswick was surreal. it is very sunny and windy, and the empty recycling buckets that had been put out the night before were all over the street, along with all sorts of leaves and garbage. like some small disaster just occured.

on the radio every station was rebroadcasting what they were playing last year on this day. both howard stern and pacifica.

nothing seems appropriate today, you know? all this patriotic crap and candlelight vigils and religous hoopla, it all seems so tacky and disrespectful. i guess if it helps people deal, but i find it repulsive. i wanna hibernate today.

being at the wtc when it fell down, is that something to brag about?

on a lighter note i saw senorita amber last nite and we had tons-o-fun watching some shitty band in some bar. and i got to see my befri mike and his gf michelle and i ain't seen them in awhile. now i have a wicked hangover though. and my eyes hurt. and my throat is scratchy. WAAAAAAH.

last nite i dreampt it was sept 11 and my family and i went on a tour of a military base. these protesters used the occasion to walk around the halls dressed in purple rubber dragon costumes, to protest the sorry state of us healthcare.
