Hope everyone had a lovely 'bastard who who claimed he discovered land that was arleady inhabited by the injuns' three day weekend. Unfortunatly, my weekend was a one day weekend, as I had to convince numerous people that when you bring your movie back the day after you've been asked to you have to pay a fee because when you joined you signed a contract stating you would do so, for two of the three days.
Though, Saturday was nice. I saw some friends I haven't seen in a while. We went to the zoo (whee!) and watched gorillas urinating on plexi-glass and one of my fiesty friends molest a baby goat (or.."kid"...as they say)....heh....he molested a kid.
Anyways, afterwards we had some japanese...mmm....yellowtail.
We were going to see some bands play in the city, but decided we were all too broke and tired, so we retreated back to my place for a Matrix Reloaded/Wrong Turn/Dario Argento film fest.
Wrong Turn is your basic teen slasher flick. It's a mix of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Deliverance and The Hills Have Eyes...except not nearly as good as any of the three. Atleast there was some good eye candy provided by Eliza Dushku and Jeremy Sisto. I hadn't seen Jeremy Sisto in a while, I remembered seeing him in a movie called "Hideaway" with Jeff Goldblum and Alicia Silverstone. I remembered watching that movie when I was younger and thinking he looked like Jim Morrison, so there was an instant crush. I gotta rent that movie.
Ofcourse Matrix was awesome. I could watch that Agent Smith scene for hours (although, many complained it was already too long).
And then Dario never fails to please. 'Opera' and 'Suspiria' have to have two of the greatest death scenes of all time...right up there with the 'Psycho' shower scene.
And that was it....some passed out...some went home....I went to work the next morning.
Right now I'd like to take you to the interactive portion of my journal. Have you ever cheated on your significant other? If so, why would you do such a thing you heartless wretch?
Ok, that's a lame question, but I'm tired and hungry so it must suffice.

i felt bad about it, but then again, i was raised a catholic and feel guilty , just about everything i've ever done. .
wow that is a marathon entry...still reading it...
1. i did not go to school/lab on monday, in respect of indigenous people's day. unfortunately my school does not respect the holiday. tuesday i had to explain it was actually a holiday, and no it was NOT columbus day, it was indigenous people's day.
2. whoa, did he really molest that goat? i hope you're joking...or that at least you guys made some money by putting it on the net and spamming a bunch of people. my hotmail accounts always get spam for that kind of shit - which makes me wonder who actually does pay for that kind of porn...
3. i HAVE cheated on a significant other, but not the one i'm with right now. i'd have to agree with hornitos, it was more of an insignificant other - i didn't like the guy. more like i hated him - his political and moral views were pretty much opposite of mine, and he was a wanker. he got pissed off that i made him wait 20 minutes (while i was doing work) on MY 21st birthday and then hit me, which was exactly before i dumped him. his family hated me right back too for being jewish (which i'm really not - i don't practice...so???). i think he probably hated me for taking his virginity away and it was all a big mess by the very end.
but that was years ago. why do you ask?
