Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I hope you all enjoy it and stay safe this year and every year. With that said, I'm going to finish this draft I had from the other day for the blog homework..... I didn't even know it was saved as a draft or it would have been done sooner. Well, here goes.
To be perfectly honest, I've never done a blog homework before. I was never sure if it was for hopefuls and full fledged suicide girls, photographers and staff or what. Ya know what though, fuck it, I'm gonna do this.
This is going to be in like, a list format. Couple sentences on why I am thankful for the thing. If I dont, I'll ramble. I do that when I just put in paragraphs and such, then I have to redo the whole thing, then I get discouraged and just scrap it all. I'm rambling now, perfect....
1. Family. They put up with all of my shit. They also try to help me, even though it sometimes enables my bad habits.
2. My job. While it sucks, I'm so happy to have it. I got laid off in 2013 and was out of work for six months (I know some people have it worse, I'm sorry) and I landed this job, no experience or anything. It's helped so much.
3. My new job! I start on the seventh of December and I'll be making enough money to get a place of my own (ok, I'll be getting a place with my sister), and maybe be able to grow up a bit and not rely on others so much.
This last one is the most important.
4. My health, both mental and physical. Without this the other three wouldn't even matter. I'm lucky really, nothing has really happened to me. Nothing has gotten worse than it was when the year started. Though it's not gotten better either and that's on me.
K, time to ramble. I want to talk about this new job and how excited I am. The pay isn't anything to really write home about, but it's more than I make now, and that's good. It's full time, full health insurance (health, dental, and optometrists), over time if wanted, paid time off, bonuses for days worked, plus travel discounts. It's so perfect for me too. It's a call center for a hotel chain, second shift. I'm just, so excited.
Anyway, how is everyone? Are we all excited for Christmas? It's creeping up pretty fast! Anywhoe, time to spend time with my family. Happy holidays everyone!
